Getting Prepared

In an effort to help you complete the process even faster and easier, we've prepared a handy checklist of what information to gather prior to starting your loan application.

General Items

  • Social security numbers
  • Last 2 year's W-2s and a current pay stub.
  • Last 2 year's signed federal tax returns for applicants who receive income from sources other than, or in addition to, an employer (i.e. self-employment)
  • Social security or pension benefit statements.
  • Deposit or Investment Account statements (covering at least the most recent two month period) to verify the funds you will contribute to the transaction.
  • Approximate payment / balance information for installment and revolving debt (auto loans, credit cards)

  • Real Estate Purchase and New Home Construction Transaction Items

  • Purchase and sales agreement
  • Estimated real estate taxes
  • Approximate balances for existing real estate loans
  • Plans, specifications and cost break down  (new construction)
  • Building Contract if a contractor will be hired (new construction)

    Real Estate Refinance Transaction Items

  • Estimated value of the property being financed
  • Copy of existing Mortgage Billing Statement.
  • Approximate balances for existing real estate loans
  • Legal description of the property (contained in a deed, mortgage, survey or title insurance policy).
  • Existing title insurance policy.
  • Existing survey of property, if available.

    Vehicle Loan Items

  • Vehicle Identification Number of the vehicle.
  • Year, Make, Model, and mileage of the subject vehicle and trade-in vehicle (if applicable)
  • Approximate payoff or buyout amount (if a refinance or lease buyout)
  • Existing monthly payment and the loan/lease # (if a refinance or lease buyout)
